FLE is the cargo handler both in Fiumicino Airport.

Type of freight handled:

General cargo: Machinery, printed matter, textiles, spare parts, electrical and electronic equipment, optical and medical instruments and so on..

Special cargo: Perishable cargo, live animals, dangerous goods and radioactive materials, oversizegoods, valuable, and art works, human remains and so on..

The export dpt:

* accept and check that all documents are correct for the load of the freight on the aircraft in accordance with chapter 3 and 4
* make DGR check list and Notoc
* make ULD inventory
* receive documents and check their correspondences with the freight
* control the reservations list
* input the data of the shipment in the Informative System
* prepare bulk cargo and ULDs
* prepare data for W/B
* weighs the goods
* prepare cargo manifest
* send messages to the airports of destination
* provide for left on ground freight for overload reasons
* manage return of export freight
